　　Doming Lam (b. 1926, Macau ) is the Founding Director of the Asian Composers'League, The Composers and Authors (copyright) Society of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Composers'Guild. He is the pioneer to lead Hong Kong into the music circles of the world. Maestro Lam studied music in Canada , the Unite states and Darmstadt ( Germany ). During 1964-1994 he worked in Hong Kong , contributed equally well in composing, conducting, teaching, producing music programmes for radio and television. Maestro Lam's objective is to create new Chinese music by applying avant-garde techniques into traditional roots. His music has been performed over 50 cities, and has provided influential concepts to younger musicians.
