Chung Sai Hou Trombone |
Born in Macau. Graduated from Taiwan Aletheia University Department of Applied Music. Specialized in trombone under Mr. Chih-Wei Tung ( Former Principal Trombone in the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra) and Orchestra conductor with Mr. Dan -Xiang Tang. During the study in Taiwan, he was the trombonist of Purely Professional Orchestra, the Principal Trombone of the Aletheia University Symphony Orchestra, the trombonist of Taichung Philharmonic Orchestra and the Taichung Philharmonic Orchestra guest conductor. He is now the Principal Trombone of Macau Youth Symphony Orchestra and Macau Youth Symphonic Band . In July 2007, he had played the Larsson trombone concertino Op. 45 with Macao Youth Symphony Orchestra at Macau Cultural Centre. In September 2009, he conducted Macau Youth Symphony Orchestra (Junior) performed Beethoven symphony no.1 and Edward Greig Peer Gynt Suite at Macau Cultural Centre. In August 2010, he had hold a Trombone recital at Macau Cultural Centre. He also joined the tour with the Macao Youth Symphony Orchestra and Macau Youth Symphonic Band respectively in Vienna, Salzburg, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China. After graduation, he serves as the trombone instructor and conductor of the Macau Youth Symphony Orchestra Association, Macau Band Directors Association as well as a number of schools in Macau. |
